Who carries Aetna
Aetna covers a broad mix of Utah employers, and in this market a number of members still carry cards branded Altius, which became part of Aetna. First Health network cards are handled here as well.
Aetna also lends its provider network to several other plans and third-party administrators. If your card carries an Aetna logo anywhere on it, even alongside another company's name, it is worth calling us to check.

Allergy injections are given during walk-in shot hours. No appointment is needed for a shot, but plan to stay 30 minutes afterward.

Aetna questions we get
My card says Altius. Is that the same thing?
Altius was a Utah plan that became part of Aetna. Bring the card you have and we will confirm the current network on our end.
Do I need prior authorization for allergy testing?
Standard skin testing generally does not. Some biologic medications for severe asthma or chronic hives do, and our staff handles that paperwork for you.
My card has an Aetna logo but a different company name on it.
That is common. Some employers use Aetna's network while a separate company processes the claims. Call us with the member ID and we will sort out which arrangement applies.
